One espalier fruit tree with two Y shapes on it.
Variants:
- In the examples above, both Y shapes lie next to each other, in one flat plane. A variant where both Y shapes lie behind each other, in two parallel planes, is also conceivable.
- Variant in which the ends of the framework branches are guided vertically. For visualization see item: Crossed U-shape.
Note: The variant without a crossover in the center is called Low Slanted Palmet.
The cultivation is similar to that of the (Normal) U shape.
